PRODUCTION OF GRASSFIELD REGALIA

Mbah-Fongkimeh Épouse Nghochu Mafong Immaculate

Immaculate is a passionate lover of the grassfield culture whose way of promoting and showcasing the culture is through the production and commercialization of the grassfield regalia. To realize this dream, we are working on a team of young people which we train and employ, to stitch and embroider using designs we have copied and created. We equally produce Headwear for both men and women, bags and other accessories to accompany these clothes. We pay special attention to customer satisfaction by ensuring quality and timely finishing.

I heard about L’ART DE L’INCLUSION from one of my mothers in church, who encouraged me to go in for the competition. I was hesitant because I never heard about it before. She sent me to MJS Bafoussam where I got the orientation and applied in the domain of fashion and design.

ABOUT

My passion for needlework started in secondary school where I learned stitches. However, the desire to embroider for commercialization started in 2014 when my dad offered me an embroidered regalia. I spent hours understanding how it was realized. In 2017 I moved to Bafoussam,  and besides my small business a lady embroidered clothes. I decided to learn, and within a week I was good to go. I realized the clothes looked good, but the finishing was wanting. I decided to create my brand to correct finishing errors. All those who’ve procured our products can attest that the finishing is not ordinary.
